New Update for Entrance Fee of Badung’s Object Destination

TRIBUN-BALI.COM, MANGUPURA - Badung government increase the entrance fee of some object destinations that located in Badung, Bali.

The purpose is to increase the regional income.

The Head of Badung Regency, I Nyoman Giri Prasta had been signed Regulation Nomor 17 Year 2019 about the Observation of Entrance Fee of Touristic Place, on 27 March, 2019.

The last update of Badung’s object destination was in 2011.

There are six out of 39 object destinations mentions in that regulation.

The newest update for entrance fee to Sangeh for domestic tourist (adult) is Rp 15.000 per person, and for kids is Rp 5.000.

But for international tourist (adult) the entrance fee is Rp 30.000, and for kids is Rp 15.000.

The same rate is also for Taman Ayun, except the domestic kids is Rp 10.000 per person.

The Uluwatu Temple entrance fee is also changing. Now for international tourist (adult) is Rp 50.000.

The Head of Badung Tourism Department, I Made Badra, said this policy had been discussed.

“This is for our regional income,” he added, Tuesday (14/5/2019).

Badra said the target income from retribution year 2019 is Rp 129 billion. He claimed that his team will improve the quality of services and facility.

“We have 39 tourist destination. Among them, there are only 6 with entrance fee tickets. The rest are free,” he explained.

For Water Blow Nusa Dua, Badra said Badung Government is on process of making draft of MoU to Indonesia Tourism Development Coporation (ITDC).

Recently they are doing pilot project to hear what tourist think if there is a ticket to entrance Water Blow. On the agreement, Badung Government will get 25% of the income, and ITDC will get 75%. (*)
