Because it was a play on words by the dwarf, to get the girl's grandmother out of the wolf's mouth

6. What would happen if the grandma did not jump into the wolf’s mouth?

The girl and her grandmother meet together, and the grandmother enjoys the food brought by the girl, and they live freely without the resence of wolves.
