Observing & Asking Questions

We will work in groups. We will write about three people in our class. We will tell what they can and cannot do in English, music, sports, housework, and others.

Here are what we will do. First, we will study the example carefully. Second, we will use the form below to write down what the three people can do and cannot do in the areas.

Third, we will use the data to write about each of them. We will handwrite it or type it on a computer. Then, we will put our works on the wall of the classroom.

We will answer questions from people who visit our works We will use a dictionary. We will spell the words and use the punctuation marks correctly.

While we are writing, we will say the sentences loudly, clearly, and correctly. If we have any problems, we will go to our teacher for help.

1. Wina

Wina can do many things. She can read English stories. She can answer questions, but she cannot ask questions in English.

She can swim and run, but she cannot play basketball. She does them regularly. She can fry eggs and bananas.

She can cook rice, too. She has two hobbies. She can knit. She can also draw pictures.

2. Dina

Dina is very good at listening to English songs. She can understand it well. She is also good at writing questions in English.

Dina is also good at playing violin, she is very talented. She can sing English songs but cannot sing any folk songs.

Dina cannot swim well so swimming is her weakness in sport. In her house, she can do many things like sweeping and washing dishes. She has a unique hobby that is collecting stamps.

3. Lia

Lia is an energetic girl, she can speak in good English and answer it very fluently. She is also playing some traditional instruments like gamelan.

While playing traditional instruments, Lia can also sing folk songs. She is also great at sports because she can play chess but cannot play soccer.

Lia can do many things in her house. She can sweep and cook rice for her family and on weekends, she usually mops her floor.

She also has a unique hobby.  She can draw wayang dan dancing a traditional Balinese dance.
