Television is the most popular form of entertainment in every household in Indonesia.

However, I think watching television too much especially soap operas and dramas can have negative impacts on the viewers.

First, watching soap operas on television in excess have negative impacts on the viewers such as their story impact our point of view about life.

As we know that soap operas and dramas usually have exaggerate story and sometimes it doesn't make sense.

Soap operas and dramas make us stupid to follow their point of view based from their story in our society.

Second, a drama has many episodes so that it makes the audience want to keep watching until the end.

The habit of watching excessively is not impossible causing unfavorable impact.

The impacts that can arise include making a person lazy, emotionally unstable, and likes to stay up late.

In conclusion, from the arguments above, watching soap operas and dramas on television excessively is believed to have a negative impact on someone.

To avoid the negative impacts of that, we should balance to watch other show on TV and other activities like watching news show, hanging out with friends, and doing other useful things.
